An article “’Baron Bra’ lines up a £50m yacht to sail away from PPE storm” (Jan 14) reported claims that Douglas Barrowman intended to buy a new yacht. We approached Mr Barrowman for comment before publication and received no response. He has now told us that he had no intention of purchasing the yacht and we are happy to make his position clear.
